Firewood and Fences

Involves a few aspects regarding 1. Low-key survivalism, and 2. perception change as needs change.

Firewood is best placed behind your fences and out of site as people are less apt to ask for, or steal the material if they don't see it and aren't aware of it. Beyond the literal sense, it's better to have preparedness assets hidden from view, because in crisis, what is visible, and accessible to others, is asked for or taken.

Firewood and fences refers to the potential dual purposes of assets, your fence can become firewood during desperate cold times, so some assets might be worth having for more than one purpose, and by the same token, we might not consider something right before us as filling a desperate need.
